WHY "CHECK-6"?

The Check-6 Foundation is named after, and based upon an aviator’s practice of checking his wingman’s 6 o’clock position (directly behind him) to ensure it is clear of any threat. Simply put, a concept of “I’ve got your back and am looking out for you.”
OUR MISSION
To provide AID, ASSISTANCE, EXPERIENCES, PURPOSE, INSPIRATION, & HOPE to CHILREN battling serious illnesss and MILITARY VETERANS in need.
Our motto incorporates the essence of both our Vision and Mission statements. It also puts to words that which our logo represents. Here at the Check-6 Foundation we will accomplish our "Wingman" mission by focusing on our Six Pillars.

OUR CHILD HEROES
Throughout the country, there are too many children battling serious illnesses and need our support. The children we help are true warriors in every sense of the word. Our programs give them the inspiration and additional support to continue to fight. Our flagship PILOT FOR A DAY program allows these children and family's the opportunity to replace some of their sad memories with great ones and smiles!
OUR VETERAN HEROES
Our military service members and Veterans have sacrificed so much for our country, and us individually. Many of them continue their own personal battles after they transition to civilian life. Others, who are still in uniform, need additional support that just isn't available otherwise. We stand bye our Veteran's and provide aid, assistance, unique experiences, and above all a sense of purpose and hope. They are our WINGMEN and we are theirs!
